extension privacy

nothing about your browsing. the extension does not track the pages you visit, read your feed, or log what you look at while you scroll.

text leaves your browser only when you press generate or reply. what goes to our API then: the topic you type, the text of the post you are replying to or reacting to (read from the page so the draft has context), and the URL of the page you are on. that is used to write the draft and nothing else.

if the extension cannot find the post box on a page it knows, it sends a small report so we can fix it: the site, the page path (no query string, no hash), and the extension version. no post text, no account details.

the live slop grade in the composer is computed entirely in your browser. the text you are writing is never sent anywhere for scoring. it is the same pattern list our website tool uses, running on your machine.

you log in once on shitpostsenpai.com. the extension holds a session token so it can call the API as you. it does not see or store your password.

the token lives in the browser's extension storage on your device. sign out and it is removed.

the extension asks for access to the sites it works on — linkedin, x, reddit, threads — plus shitpostsenpai.com to reach the API. it uses those to add the generate button, the reply panel, and the slop badge. it does not use them for anything else.

no one. the text you generate with goes to our own API and the AI provider that writes the draft. we do not sell data and there are no third-party trackers in the extension.
